What is the difference between ‘Alkaline’ and ‘Alkalinity’?

Alkaline refers to a pH level above 7. However, alkalinity refers to the presence of alkaline minerals in the water. Alkaline water can have a very high pH but have no alkalinity if the minerals aren’t present. Alkaline water without these minerals does nothing to neutralize the acidity in your body.
