Start out gradually by drinking water 8.5 pH for the first week. If the water agrees with you, move up to 9.0 pH during the second week, and then to 9.5 pH in the third week. You should stay on 9.5pH thereafter.
11.5pH should not be used for daily water consumption as the pH is very high and may cause adverse side effects such as headaches. People who are sick, people who have fragile health, the elderly, and people who are very acidic may have to stay on each pH for two or more weeks before moving up to the next pH in order to help the body gradually get used to the alkaline water.
